Being an Italian living in Sweden, for many years I have been torn, wondering if I made the right decision staying in this cold country. It has been like this for me: I often get back to my vibrant hometown Treviso and while there I suddenly long to return back to the calm of Sweden, to a more organized and structured days. Once in Sweden, I miss my cappuccino and brioche in Italian mornings that are always sunny and those improvised aperitivos ‘in piazza’ in the evening. 22 years of indecisiveness are now gone and I still live in the region of Skåne, in the south of Sweden. The idea of this blog came to me when I finally decided that my home is exactly where it should be, between Sweden and Italy. My quest for the perfect place turned into experiences and ideas that I would like to share.
